Dr Nathan Atterholt

Dr. Atterholt is an Ohio native with a passion for caring for patients of all ages. A graduate of Hillsdale High School, Dr. Atterholt completed a B.A. in Biology at the College of Wooster and earned his Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) and M.S. in Vision Science from The Ohio State University College of Optometry (2011). He joined Family Eyecare Associates in 2014 and purchased the practice in 2019.

Clinical interests

Pediatric eye care
Ocular disease management: glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, diabetic eye disease
Contact lens fittings: daily disposables, toric (for astigmatism), multifocal, and specialty lenses

Dr. Atterholt married his high school sweetheart, Amy, and together they have a son, Rhett. They live on a farm and raise grain crops and pigs. In his free time, you’ll find him enjoying family time, travelling, woodworking, golfing, and cheering on Notre Dame football. He’s active in the community through the Lions Club, Hillsdale Cancer Crusaders, and Trinity Lutheran Church.

Dr. Morgan Bostic

Dr. Bostic was born and raised in nearby Carroll County and graduated from Malvern High School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Capital University and then earned her Doctorate of Optometry (O.D) from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry.

Myopia control (children & teens)
Ocular disease management: glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration
Contact lens fittings: soft and specialty (toric for astigmatism, multifocal)

A little more about Dr. Bostic
During school she completed ocular-disease externships on a Montana Indian reservation and at an ophthalmology surgical center in Pittsburgh. Outside the office she enjoys time with family and friends, her dogs, and her husband, Josh; the outdoors (hunting and camping); painting, crafting, and staying active. She’s a member of the Ohio and American Optometric Associations, American Legion Post 375, Lions Club, and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church—and is excited to be serving her Ohio community again.
